When it seemed that all hope had been lost on this shoe -in this colorway- Asics drops them with little to no hype. First released back in 1991 the Gel Lyte III in the white orange colorway first saw a re-issue back in 2008 but with slightly toned down colors and felt material substituted for leather. Then Ronnie Fieg -while working at David Z- teamed up with ASICS to do this colorway again but this time swapping out the white mesh for black. Again, in 2013 Ronnie would get this shoe in this colorway but still opting out of the original felt material and instead choosing leather for the side panel. Well, for the first time ever you are able to pick up this shoe, this colorway in all its OG glory this time issued with the correct felt side panels. Pick them up now via ASICS
