At a retail price of $120 one of Nike’s most notable models in the Tailwind continued the shoes balancing act of bang up to date design coupled with reserved dad vibes.
They featured synthetic and breathable mesh, molded upper panel construction -which was (for all you Snapple fact fans) inspired by the Nike Air Max Dolce – fully integrated exterior TPU heel counter and midfoot and upper frame providing rearfoot support control. In the midsole you got full length PU , large volume visible heel air sole unit coupled with a visible forefoot air unit and an outsole with full length BRS 1000 carbon rubber and TPU mid foot wrap for added torsional rigidity. All in all this version of the Tailwind held its own in a long line of variations throughout the years.
