Nike described the Air Max Bambino as a shoe designed for the runner that craves Nike’s largest Air Max cushioning. The thing is, this wasn’t very large. Truth be told the 2004 retro of the Nike Air Max 95 probably had a large heel air unit. With that said this obscure model featured breathable mesh and synthetic overlays, internal support straps combined with flexible TPU eyestay, PU heel and interlock Phylon forefoot, “large” visible heel air sole unit, thermoplastic mid foot shank and exterior heel cup as well as BRS 1000 carbon rubber heel and Duration forefoot pad.
