Ahhhhh Evisu. Part of NT denim royalty in the early 2000’s, it was one of the brands that I could never really get into. While I’m not quite sure why the reality was they were on fire. Eventually this finely crafted Japanese denim would make its way to discount retailers like Century21 and well you don’t hear much regarding Evisu these days. They are still pumping out very expensive in your face denim btw but who knows if they will ever recapture the demand of days gone by. All this aside what is pretty funny is this 2004 ad that features a dude that appears to be wearing a denim suit but that doesn’t look to be wearing anything they actually sell. Make sense? Yea………..Anyhow, take a trip back to their heyday with this 2004 ad.
