Thinking back when I started this Niketalk Thread almost 7 years ago a 33 Hi retro was far fetched. Fast forward to 2016 and here we are anticipating one of the sneaker communities and brands biggest releases in the Eclipse . Originally worn by Patrick at the 1992 Olympics, the Eclipse features the #6 on the heel instead of his customary 33 and comes with a faux gold medal just like the original – they will also come with special packaging. For the famous 92 Dream Team there were only 2 players that had an “Olympic PE” that could be purchased at retail with their Olympic number on it. Those two individuals? Patrick with the Eclipse and Michael Jordan with the Jordan VII.
Come Friday 7/22/16 dreams will become a reality when Ewing Athletics brings back both OG colors of the Eclipse -the White/Navy he wore in completion and Black/Red/Navy. To celebrate this huge release Ewing Athletics will be launching the shoes early on 7/20 at ALIFE Irvington club 158 Irvington St. New York with Patrick himself making a rare NYC appearance as well as Fabolous for a meet and greet with fans. Retail on both color way’s will be $120 and retailers will carry sizes 5-13 with larger sizes available on Ewingathletics.com. Get ready………………
