Named after the 5th highest mountain in the world the Puma Makalu looked like the terminator of trail shoes. Aside from a design that made them look like a machine they featured ToughTec abrasion resistant material, scotch guard water resistant material, supportive injection material, 3M reflective material, iCELL in the heel, CMEVA midsole and EverTrack carbon rubber outsole. At $75 these were definitely worth a look and some 15 years later would be a great addition to any Puma collection. Check them out below!
