If you played ball (by ball I mean Football and by Football I mean American Football and by American Football I mean not soccer) then this shoe was worth considering. You probably remember the Nike Air Veer (originally released in 1996 and retro’d in 2003 and 2013) and those legendary Nike ads featuring Dennis Hopper and Bruce Smith and this was the progression of that shoe. There was nothing fancy about them but they were clean and pretty much matched up with every team color way you could think of (which made them desirable)w. What you got at $65 was 3/4 height, lightweight synthetic leather, mid foot strap, full length Pylon and an aggressive multi directional rubber lug pattern outsole. Take a trip back below!
