By 1998 FILA was still hanging tough although no longer in its prime. Still, shoes like the Confidence Mid were highlights in a lineup that included sig shoes from Grant Hill, Stackhouse and Chris Webber. Original retail on this shoe was $79.99 and features included a unique internal ghilley lacing system, molded CMR midsole with 2A and a high performance rubber outsole. These days you’ll be hard pressed to find a pair anywhere but if you do expect to pay a slight premium (possibly in the 120-150 range). Take a trip back to 1998 above!
