According to this ad it took six years of testing and research to develop this 1958 Kangeroo Leather football cleat. Really? Six years? Anyhow, the cleats were endorsed by Hugh McElhenny (a hall of fame running back) and were ultimately made by a company that is still around today. Take a trip back to the 1950’s below!
