While many might correlate Muhammad Ali with a more youthful Adidas Originals there was a time where the G.O.A.T. was repping for Rockport (who at the time was a subsidiary of Reebok (Reebok wasn’t owned by Adidas yet)). The collab was set up to raise funds for the Muhammad Ali Center which at that time wasn’t slated to open for another two years. Seven pairs of autographed Everlast boxing gloves and autographed photos were auctioned off in a silent auction at several Rockport Concept Stores across the country and to this day, the Muhammad Ali Center is still going strong.
