It was a beautiful night in NYC as W Hotels Time Square location in collab with Liberatum held an invite only panel discussion about Living New York. The panel was moderated by Joe Zee and featured Karen Elson, Prabal Gurung, Karim Rashid, Stacey Engman and Paul Haggis as they explained how New York style, fashion and design transformed each of them. Everything from the effects of big business on the homogenization of New York (and other major cities around the world) all the way through to each of the panel members personal experiences living in New York followed by some Q&A from the audience, capped off a great laid back night talking all things NYC. Were the 90’s the last great era for NYC? Is Berlin surpassing NYC for the hottest city in the world? Is technology making artists and designers lazy? Drop a comment in the box below, vote for your favorite era of NYC and check out some fliks from the night below!
