Designed by Steven Smith, the original Reebok InstaPump Fury dropped way back in 1994. Fast forward to 2012 and Reebok did a limited run of Fury’s in the OG firecracker red colorway and as usual, Reebok knocked it out of the park. Still, die hard fans of the shoe wondered if the Pump Fury would ever return in its initial form. If you’re wondering what exactly I’m talking about let me explain. You see, during the shoes initial release there was a large chunk of the sole missing cut out to lessen the shoes weight. The toe cap was also slightly different. There wound up being some issues with the midsole and Reebok was forced to change the midsole on the Pump Fury to the shoes sole that came before the legendary design, the Graphite Road. For 2013, Reebok brought back the original design but not the flagship colorway. For 2014, that will change. Back in its OG form and colorway, the Reebok Instapump fury OG is scheduled to release January, 4 2014. Check them out above and below.
