For some reason Converse has the impression that the Aero Jam won’t sell. Could it be that the last time these retro’d (2004-2005) sales were not as good as we thought? Doubt it. Lets go back to 2004. Dudes were still going hard with the baggy jeans and throwbacks, the Timberland field boot was super heavy in the street and Converse finally brought back the Aero Jam (a shoe that originally dropped in 1993) for a retail price of $85.00 USD. While the retro was solid Converse watered down the design a tad getting rid of the splatter print on the midsole of the white black teal colorway and ditching the same print on the upper for the black teal colorway. Both of the Charlotte Hornets colorways of the Aero Jam sold well and while the other colors like the one above didn’t fly off the shelves they did sell well and did begin to be embraced by an entirely new generation of sneaker connoisseurs. Which leads to this question: Why are they not on shelves? Take a trip back above!
