New Balance is known for quality running shoes and that didn’t end with their basketball line. They didn’t have any big name endorsers or clever marketing but the shoes themselves spoke volumes, that was unless you didn’t even pay any mind to their basketball line. If thats your excuse don’t sweat it, most people weren’t checking for their basketball line and that was the reason they shifted away from the market. Anyhow, back to the BB770WB, this shoe featured a non marking rubber outsole, sythetic/mesh upper, C-Cap midsole and ABZORB heel and forefoot (basically a running shoe interpreted into a basketball shoe). If you can track down a new pair today don’t expect to pay anything over 80 dollars depending on size and condition. Take a trip back to 1999 above!
