The Brooks argent is a dope runner from a time of many great running shoes. They were a turn in the opposite direction from the heavier and boxier offerings from Brooks at the time (2 ounces lighter than the Brooks Chariot according to Runnersworld) and featured a dual density compression molded EVA with kinetic wedge under the big toe, blown rubber with carbon rubber heel plug, and chemical sheet heel counter. If you’re a collector of vintage Brooks then you know finding a pair of these in a good size is a mission but not outrageously expensive (should be able to pick up a set for about 70-130 dollars). Take a trip back to 1988 above!
