For those of you that don’t know k-Skit let me introduce you. Founded in 2001 (several years before our beloved Flight Club) k-Skit is the mecca for sneakers in Japan (and quite possibly the world) and the most frustrating site ever for sneakerheads in the United States. Why you ask? Well, unless you have a connect in Japan, you won’t have access to the tons of heat on the site. It’s a shop that dreams are made of. What makes k-Skit particularly special is its collector vibe and serious wide variety of kicks. You can go into Skit and pick up a vintage pair of Airwalk’s or Champions while also having access to some Lunar Grand Wingtips or the latest retro infrared Air Max 90’s while also picking up the original 1990 release. Its a mix of vintage footwear that Flight Club used to be involved in but has steered away from for years. The staff at k-Skit is also particularly knowledgeable on vintage footwear as its not all about the typical hyped up Nike shoe. The display of vintage Jordan VHS tapes, Starting Lineups and various toys gives you an idea of the type of guys involved with the shop 🙂 Check out some fliks from the shop below, head on over to k-Skit then get to work on your Japanese connect!
