Last night (May 2, 2013) Kendrick Lamar performed at the ‘Own The Stage’ event hosted by Footaction at a location in Brooklyn. While taking the stage Kendrick was decked out in Hood By Air. The Hood By Air t shirt he was sporting will be exclusively carried at the Soho boutique VFILES while the leather pant is from the Fall/Winter 2013 runway collection.
The New York label will be making their debut on the west coast this month May 18th with a month long pop up shop to be set up on Melrose in LA (sponsored by A/V initiative). The Scion A/V Hood By Air pop up exhibit entitled “MORPH”, will serve as the debut of a capsule luggage concept collection and feature three silicone art objects inspired by hiking luggage, tattooed skin and jewelry piercings as the focal point for the exhibit. The decor will be that of a space reminiscent of a high school locker-room and lucky individuals will have the opportunity to pick up some limited run products such as T shirts, backpacks, posters, water bottles, Emory boards and more.
