Ok the low down. This 1991 shoe from Etonic featured a single density compression molded EVA midsole with an air pad in the forefoot and rearfoot (sounds comfy). The outsole contained three densities that included: blown rubber in the forefoot, exposed EVA in the midfoot and a carbon rubber heel plug. Runnersworld recommended these for serious runners that wanted a stable lightweight shoe for racing or fast paced training and noted that they weren’t suitable for cold or wet winter running. Since this shoe is over 22 years old and the chances of you using this shoe to actually run in are slim to none we’ll end off on the note that they are clean looking, lightweight (9.2 oz) and not easy to come by today. They were originally an $80.00 shoe so if you can snag a set for close to that or cheaper you’ve done well. (On a side note don’t these look a little Diadoraish?) Take a trip back to 1991 above.
