So the people at Converse have been very busy pumping out some real nice stuff for 2013 (we could still use some Aero Jams, Aero Glides, Run N Slam’s, Magic Johnson’s, Conquests, Accelerator’s, Back Jam’s etc. but hey who’s complaining ;)) and here are some more goodies. This Spring Converse drops the Chuck Taylor All Star Well Worn Collection.
I still remember the first time I saw a pre-broken in look pair of Chucks sitting on the shelves. It was around 2004/2005 and I thought someone had placed a dirty pair of sneakers on the shelves until I got a little closer and noticed it was there on purpose. I still have mixed feelings when it comes to a pre-worn looking pair of Converse’s (since most people love breaking their kicks in and all the memories associated with every dirt and ketchup stain on your Chucks), but even aside from the broken in look these aren’t your standard release Chucks. This collection features premium washed canvas (that’s been extensively treated to produce that broken in look that Converse feels is just right) and some real nice colors like Cashmere Rose and Turtledove.
