The Reebok Pump Fury is one hell of a shoe. Eye catching looks, lightweight, comfy its good to go. One thing your probably wondering is why you would even be interested in the earlier version of the shoe compared to todays retro. Well here is the biggest difference, the Hexalite. In the earlier 2000’s Reebok used a much softer (and hence a more comfortable) Hexalite in the midsole of the retro shoes that originally had it. Does this mean you should definitely hold out for the earlier retro? Nope. Some of the more sought after colorways never saw an early retro and besides that the newer Pump Fury retro’s aren’t even close to bad. Check out the earlier retro above from the DeFY.
