Here’s something to add to your sneaker knowledge. The first explorers of the “New World” report that the Amazonians would dip their feet in a sap like extract (latex) from the Hevea Brasiliensis (The Para rubber tree) over fire creating the first “tennis shoes”. Latex is the primary source of natural rubber and this process (which is reported to have begun 3600 years ago among the Olmec people of Mesoamerica) was the inspiration for Iguaneye’s minimalist shoes.
