The Nike Air Zoom Vapor III was a special shoe and what it lacked in comfort it made up for in bad ass looks. Worn by James Blake, this shoe came in a good selection of colorways (CLICK HERE TO SEE THE ZOOM VAPOR III IN WHITE/CLAY/ORANGE), (CLICK HERE TO SEE THE ZOOM VAPOR III IN BLUE/NAVY), (CLICK HERE TO SEE THE ZOOM VAPOR III IN WHITE/GREY) but one colorway (possibly the best for this shoe) evaded the general public. In 2006, Blake showed up to the U.S. Open wearing a re-release of the classic polo from the 1989-1990 Tech Challenge II line (endorsed by the man himself, Andre Agassi) complete with a PE pair of white black lava Vapor III’s (inspired by the Lava Tech Challenge II). Why Nike never released the Zoom Vapor III in this colorway (or why they teased us with a retro of that shirt but never released it) is beyond anyones comprehension. For now, check out both above and make sure to vote below on how you feel about the entire outfit!
