Its 2011, and we’ve seen a lot of retro releases come and go. Heck, theres even talk of releasing the self lacing boots from the movie “Back To The Future” (and a patent to go with that talk). You begin to think everything, or almost everything has been done (and in some cases done to death). Thats where Vibram comes in. In 1991, Married With Children aired an episode in which Al Bundy has a near death experience and meets God, but only sees his feet. With the help of Jefferson, they go on to create and market “God’s Shoes”. Fast forward some 20 years later, and you’ll notice that Vibram Five Fingers look almost spot on, which leads me to this: There’s no denying, Vibram Five Fingers have caught on like wild fire. Why not cater to the sneaker collecting community with a limited edition technical version of “God’s shoes” with the same colors and metallic look. If anyone could do it, Vibram could. Would you buy them or is it overkill? Vote below!
