I know what your thinking, really? Four stripes? REALLY? While its obvious that someone at Sears “borrowed” some design cues from
Adidas, it still makes for some interesting shoe history. While Converse manufactured some of the styles for “The Winner” line, “The Winner II” didn’t have that same endorsement. Check out the 1977 ad for Sears’s Winner II line below.
