Gail Goodrich or “stumpy” as teammate Elgin Baylor called him, completed a career which included 2 NCAA Championships, Helms Foundation College player of the year award in 1965, consensus NCAA All-American First Team in 1965, 5 NBA All-Star appearances, All-NBA first team in 1974 and a NBA championship in 1972.
