The Nike Air Force 180 was one of those shoes people got on their hands and knees for Nike to retro. When they did, they sold decently but not as well as anticipated. Worn by Charles Barkley the original 180 was super comfortable and visually “stimulating”. Unfortunately for Nike, Avia won a lawsuit which put a stop to the original 180. For years rumors speculated as to why Nike never brought back a retro of the shoe, but some 14 years later it eventually happened (this time most likely without the Cantilever technology).
