Before this shoe dropped in 2009 for a second retro in this color way the only version to give you that original 1990 Bo Jackson feel was the 1998 release. Finally, the wait was over. There are some differences from the original, and for that matter the 1998 retro. For one the there were some serious manufacturing issues with these. Materials aside, the majority of these came pre crumbled up (in the toe box area). Aside from this, the shoe came out wonderful, Nike did a great job of matching up the color’s to the original. These are also very comfy. They run narrow so I suggest going a half size up. To date, eastbay still has sizes up for sale in this color way.
