This shoe is basically the Kids version of the Nike Tech Challenge II. The hot lava color way is by far the most recognizable. These would be a great fit for a woman (they go up to size 6.5 kids which is around an 8.5 womens). If you’ll notice the outer sole is that of a court force II ( a basketball shoe!) The bonus of owning these in comparison to owning the mens version is the absence of the polyurethane mid sole which more often than not, deteriorates over time. The uppers consist of a very smooth man made leather. A lot of people don’t know this, but at the time Reebok had a special process of making their leather buttery soft. Nike really struggled to keep up (we all know the outcome) but if you have the chance to own any vintage Nike’s you’ll notice that the leather is especially smooth. This was Nike’s answer to Reebok. Anyhow, continuing on below are pictures from the DeFY. New York Photo Vault enjoy this trip back!
