The saying goes if its not broken don’t fix it, to bad Jordan brand did not live by that when they re-retro’d the Jordan II. This shoe featured a tacky red and black outline on the side of the shoe that was totally unnecessary. Neither the original nor the 1994 retro had this. It most certainly took away from the maturity of the shoe. They run true to size, and be forewarn this is the year that Jordan brand really began to be hit or miss with their retro quality. This shoe, although not the worst was not the best either. Do not be scared regarding the wearability, these do not deteriorate like the originals and the 94 versions (one positive over the first two releases). This Colorway was nicknamed the Melo’s because they are the color’s of the Denver Nuggets Carmelo Anthony’s team. The Jordan II is also his favorite. Below are pictures from the DeFY.
