To many, this shoe was a disgrace to the Jordan I, for many it was a breath of fresh air. Released in 2003 collectors were happy to have the white carolina blue Jordan I but upset that it came in the way of a shoe made entirely of patent leather. Since The shoe is completely patent leather its easy to clean but creases fairly quick in the toe area. The bottoms of the carolina blue pair featured clear soles which yellowed quickly. They featured a box with the original Jordan wings logo. The Air jordan logo around the ankle was a hologram. These were a mid cut shoe and did not offer much in terms of cushion (issue with all Jordan I retro’s.) They fit true to size and pairs have increased in value over the years, although the price should be fairly flexible now since there are just so many better Jordan products on the market.
