Nike Air Max 90 Laser Blue Original Part One With A Bonus Video! THESE ARE THE ORIGINAL’S FOLKS NOT THE RETRO’S THE 1990 ORIGINALS.

Ok so there are 2 parts first we will look at the original Nike Air Max 90 Laser Blue and then compare and contrast them to a 2006 version that I ID’d through Nike ID at the time (when that option was available, after JD sports released their version of the Laser blues that option disappeared on Nike ID). Comfort wise the shoe felts like heaven on your feet, something about the way sneakers were made in the earlier days gives you a very personal feel when you put them on (can’t say the same for most sneakers now). One thing I do have to say is that up to 2005 Nike has done a relatively decent job of am 90 retro’s, anything after 2005 is really hit or miss, deformed air units and all. These are much lighter than the 2005 HOA infrared release and the JD sport Release as well as more comfortable. Materials are similar, but the construction on the originals was much better, the manufacturing was much more on point. The thick “Nike Air” tag was a great touch, I remember people wearing them around their neckin th 90’s myself included. The mesh used on the originals is also different than that of all the retro’s even the earlier 2000 versions. The mesh used on the originals was very rigid and much more durable. For those of you that don’t know after 2004 Nike switched to more environmentally friendly air units and thus the comfort of the shoe and weight of these retro’s increased, the originals featured an original Nike Air unit the JD sports and the 2006 pair I ID’d did not.
