Hi everyone, today I bring you a very special shoe from the DeFY. New York Photo Vault. I present to you the Original Puma Disc from 1991. This shoe was Puma’s answer to Nike Air, and the Reebok Pump. By twisting the disc or “closure unit” on the top of the shoe it gives the person wearing them a custom fit. The shoe ran small so going a half size up is optimal, but it was a heavy shoe (not that it matters now since no one is going running in this shoe). The shoe is on the chunky side for a running shoe but it would make a nice casual shoe. Puma has retro’d variations of the disc but to date this particular model has not seen a retro. Below are picutres from the DeFY. New York Photo Vault enjoy a TRUE blast from the past!
