Many years back I was fortunate to have owned an original pair of these from 1990. I tried wearing them a few times and well, lets just say it didn’t work out to well. Ever since then the yearning to own a wearable pair of these became increasingly strong. Fortunately for myself and the rest of the sneaker community Jordan Brand “blessed” us with this timeless shoe in this dope OG color way. Black tongue, red midsoles, just lovely. Of course though there were differences between the retro and its OG counterpart, such as “Nike Air” Missing off the heel of the shoe, the shape had changed, they weren’t as comfortable, the air unit was colored black and the 23 stitching on the side wasn’t as pronounced but the all around aura of the original was still there.
